1 - Presentation

New benchmark on the cleaning and work environment market , Cleany presents itself as a central player in the transformation of workspaces by defending a strong CSR identity and supporting its Cleaners and its customers in this major transition for a better quality of life at work.

This confidentiality and personal data management policy provides, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, relating to the protection of individuals with regard to of the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, information on how Cleany (“we”) collects and processes your personal data when you interact with us.

The expression “personal data” or “personal data” means any information relating to a natural person capable of being identified, directly or indirectly, regardless of whether this information is confidential or public. Please note that for this data to no longer be considered personal, it must be made anonymous so as to make any identification of the person concerned impossible (Personal data | CNIL).

1.1. Catégories de données personnelles

We collect, use, store, process and transfer different types of personal data, depending on the purpose of the processing. We only collect categories of data necessary for a particular purpose.
The personal data we collect includes but is not limited to:

Contact details: first name , middle first name, last name, company name, job title/function, email address and personal telephone numbers, email address and professional telephone numbers of our customer contacts, prospects, partners, service providers, organizations, employees and candidates ;

Data concerning a Job Application: data concerning your professional life, information included in your CV and cover letter, diplomas or other relevant certificates, employer references; Financial Data: bank account and payment card details, details of payments made to you or sent to us, and details of products and services you have purchased from us;

Internet Log Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and any other technology installed on the devices you use to access our websites, information about how you use our website, products and services, device identifiers such as mobile advertising IDs, cookie IDs ( please also refer to our Cookie Management policy linked to our website);

User Account Data: identification information (username or identifier similar, password hash), preferences, comments that you have posted via the contact form or chat;

Marketing and Communication Data: your preferences for receiving marketing documents from us or from third parties, your preferred communication methods;

Satisfaction Questionnaire or Survey Data sent to you: in reference to all the types of personal data we collect from you when you participate in our survey activities. They include your responses to online or telephone surveys including socio-demographic information such as title, gender, your level of education, seniority in your company etc…

1.2. What happens if you do not wish to providepersonal data?

Personal data is collected when registering on the site or subsequently when use of the services. They are mandatory for creating an account and accessing the services.

The data is used solely for the purposes of providing and managing the services, managing contact forms and managing the newsletter to which they are necessary.

If the processing of your personal data is necessary for the execution of a contract to which you have subscribed and you refuse to provide the necessary information, we may cancel our services provided in under the contract.

If the collection of your personal data is necessary to process an application or establish an employment contract and you refuse to provide the requested information, we will not be able to process your application or offer you an employment contract.

Participation in our surveys is always voluntary. You can stop participating and/or providing personal data at any time.

2 - Personal data we collect from you

2.1. Personal Data provided by you through direct interactions

You may provide us with your Contact Information, User Account Data and Financial Data by filling out forms or corresponding with us by post, telephone, email or otherwise. This includes personal data that you provide when you:

  • visit or create a user account on a Cleany website,
  • request or use our products or services,

3 - Purposes of processing your personal data

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected them and for purposes compatible with the original collection purposes.


3.1. Communication with you as a business partner

We process your personal data if you are a potential customer of our products and services, an existing customer or a service provider for the implementation and effectiveness of our commercial relationship with you.

If you register on our website to receive specific content, information (newsletters, etc.), to participate in events or contact us by e-mail or otherwise , we will process your Contact Data and any information you submit via our web forms or send to us by email for the following purposes:

  • communicating with you about our services,
  • you inform about our policies and general conditions,
  • answer your questions/requests,
  • invite you to participate in customer satisfaction surveys,

We process your Contact Information, Financial Data, Internet Log Data and User Account Data, Satisfaction Survey Data to provide you with our services and better understand how you use our solutions.


3.2. Marketing Consent

If you register or agree to receive invitations to our free events and webinars, expert articles and views, or new product announcement emails, we will ask for your consent to use your email address for this purpose.

We may use your Contact Information, Internet Log Data and User Account Data to better understand what may be of interest to you and how that content can best be presented to you .

We will seek your explicit consent before sharing your personal data with a third party for marketing purposes where applicable.

You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email we send you.

If you opt out of receiving such marketing communications, the personal data you provide to us following a product purchase /service, warranty registration, product/service experience or other transactions will still be processed.


3.3. Processing your application

If you apply for a job with Cleany, we will collect Contact Information and Job Application Data from you in order to make decisions regarding the possible conclusion of a employment contract. work.
If we need other categories of your personal data during the application process or we intend to use this data for purposes other than those specified above, we will provide you with all information in advance as required by law via a supplemental privacy notice.

4 - Internet Log Data

If you interact with our website or software applications including online or cloud-based applications, we will automatically collect Internet Log Data about your equipment, browsing actions and habits.

We use Internet Log Data to improve user experience, performance, usability and security of surveys and other solutions, as well as for quality assurance purposes.

We may also use Survey Data Internet Journal to meet our internal and external audit requirements, for information security purposes, or to protect or enforce our or others' rights, privacy, security, or property. This includes preventing and detecting fraud, interruptions to our services or IT systems. 6 - Bases légales du traitement

We will only process your personal data for the purposes described above. We process your personal data in accordance with the law:

8.2. Cleany service providers and partners

If applicable and depending on compatibility with the purposes, we share personal data with:

  • service providers, including but not limited to , hosting providers, call centers and IT service providers who are contractually bound to use the data exclusively for our purposes, in accordance with our instructions;
  • service providers who act as as independent data controllers or who share responsibility for processing personal data with us, such as insurance companies and accounting services;
  • recipients subject to professional confidentiality rules, including lawyers, banks and external auditors.


8.3. Business transfers

We transfer data, in particular personal data, to a reasonable extent and where applicable, in the context of a company reorganization, restructuring, merger or of a sale, or for any other transfer of assets. We will ensure that the receiving party agrees to respect your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law and for the original purposes.

We will continue to ensure the confidentiality of personal data and provide data subjects with a notice before said personal data is transferred to another data controller.

10 - Processing security

Cleany takes data security very seriously. We apply appropriate levels of security regarding the transfer, storage and processing of personal data by Cleany through the implementation of physical, electronic and administrative procedures to ensure the protection and security of data against destruction, deletion, loss , accidental or unlawful alteration, unauthorized disclosure and access. Access to your personal data is only granted to Cleany staff, service providers or affiliates who need to know it as a matter of principle or in order to carry out their tasks and missions.

  • Right to withdraw your consent: where the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Right rectification: you can request the rectification of your personal data. We do our best to ensure that personal data used on an ongoing basis is kept accurate, complete, up-to-date and relevant according to the most recent data available to us.
  • Right of limitation: you can ask us to limit the processing of your personal data, if:
  • you contest the accuracy of your personal data during the period during which we need to verify their clarification,
  • the processing is unlawful and you request restriction of processing instead of deletion of your personal data,
  • we no longer need your personal data but you have need this information to assert, exercise or defend your rights,
